Who we are
Cirrela is published by the company named in our legal notice. Write to us at hello@cirrela.com.
Your account
You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in methods secure. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live.
Credits & payments
Credits are consumed when a generation starts and refunded automatically if it fails. Subscription credits renew each billing period; purchased credit packs do not expire. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time from Plan and credits, and stay active until the end of the period already paid.
Changing plan: a bigger plan or size starts at once, and you pay the difference for the rest of the current period; a smaller one starts at your next renewal, and you keep what you paid for until then.
Right of withdrawal: credits are delivered as soon as your payment goes through. When you pay, you ask for that immediate delivery and accept that you lose the 14-day right of withdrawal from that moment, as EU law allows for digital services.
If a payment is refunded or disputed, the credits it bought that you haven't used are taken back.
What you create
You keep the rights you have in your prompts and in the photos you upload. We don't claim ownership of the videos and images you generate: as far as the law and each model provider's terms allow, they are yours to use. Content made entirely by AI may not be protected by copyright, so we can't promise that nobody else will make something similar.
On a paid plan (Starter, Pro or Studio) you can use what you make commercially, including after you cancel. On the Free plan, creations are for personal, non-commercial use and are shown publicly in Examples.
To run the service, you let us store, process, back up and display your prompts, photos and creations. For public creations, that includes showing them on Examples and share pages until you make them private or delete them.
You're responsible for what you make
You are responsible for your prompts, the photos you upload, and how you use and share what you make. Only upload photos you have the right to use, with the consent of the people in them. Never share a creation that shows a real child.
When you share a realistic video or image of a real person, place or event, say clearly that it is AI-generated, as the EU AI Act (article 50) requires.
What you can't make
- Sexual content involving minors, or anything that sexualises a minor. We report it to the authorities.
- Deepfakes of real people without their consent, including sexual or nude images (“undressing” someone) and videos that put words in their mouth to deceive.
- Harassment, threats, bullying, or hateful content aimed at a person or a group.
- Terrorist content, or content that praises violent extremism.
- Misinformation: realistic fake news, fake events or election content meant to be taken as real.
- Content that infringes someone's rights: their image, their work, their brand or their characters.
- Spam, scams, impersonation and fraud.
- Getting around our filters or the models' safety systems, or removing the AI-generated label and metadata from files you share.
Filters, reports and suspension
We check every prompt, film storyboard and saved character before anything renders. A prompt our filter refuses is never charged. Each refusal counts against your account for 24 hours: three of them (a child-safety refusal counts as two) pause creating until the oldest is a day old.
Anyone signed in can report a public creation with its Report button, and anyone can write to abuse@cirrela.com. We review every report, may hide a creation from public pages while we do, and remove what breaks these rules.
We may suspend an account that breaks these rules. While it is suspended you can still sign in, download your creations and delete your account, but you can't create, improve or share. Each time we take down a creation or suspend an account, we email you the reason. Reply to that email, or write to abuse@cirrela.com, within six months to ask for another review by a person.
We take down child sexual abuse material and terrorist content and report it to the authorities.
The AI-generated label
Public pages show an AI-generated label. The PNG, JPEG and MP4 files we store get machine-readable metadata saying they were generated by AI, unless the model provider already signed them with C2PA Content Credentials, which we keep intact. Some providers also add watermarks such as SynthID; we keep them.
Third-party models
Generations are produced by third-party AI models. Outputs can be inaccurate or unexpected, and are provided as-is.
Changes and applicable law
We may update these terms. If a change matters to you, we'll email you before it applies. These terms are governed by French law; if you are a consumer in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country.
