Lesson 5 · Going further · 4 min

A short film from one sentence

Three to six shots, the same character in each, music and an edit, for a price fixed before anything renders.

Why it works

One clip shows a moment; a film tells a story. Film mode writes three ideas, a storyboard you can edit, then renders and cuts every shot. The price is shown first and can't grow.

Step by step

  1. Open Film and write the story in one sentence, with a twist if you can.
  2. Pick the format, 3 to 6 shots, the quality and whether you want music. Ideas and the storyboard are free.
  3. Choose one of the three ideas, then edit any shot of the storyboard by clicking its text.
  4. Press "Make the film": the price on the button is the most it can cost. If a shot fails, its credits come back.

The example

A lonely lighthouse keeper finds a message in a bottle, and it is in his own handwriting.

The price is shown before anything is made. New here? You get 60 free credits, no card needed.
